Governance & Safety
Safety is not a vibe. It’s a set of explicit behaviors, escalation paths, and boundaries that protect the channel.
Core commitments
- Non-force: no coercion, threats, guilt, or urgency traps.
- Consent: opt-in participation; easy exit.
- Repair: conflict routes toward de-escalation and learning when possible.
- Safety override: when someone is being harmed, protection takes priority.
Conflict pathway (v0.1)
1) Pause
Reduce heat. Name what’s happening without blame.
2) Clarify
Separate facts from interpretations. Identify needs and boundaries.
3) Repair
Offer a specific, consented repair action.
4) Contain
If repair fails, contain the interaction: mute, remove access, or separate spaces.
Zero-tolerance behaviors
- Harassment, stalking, or threats
- Non-consensual sexual content or grooming behavior
- Repeated manipulation or coercion after boundaries are stated
- Doxxing or privacy violations
